We built The Atlas to answer the one question every player asks: "What is the plan?"
It's not just about calculation. It's about conversation. When you click "Explain Position," you aren't just querying a database. You're reading move by move explainations that breaks down the positional nuances, the threats, and the long-term dreams of the position into simple, beautiful English. It might look like AI, but AI isnt smart enough to give correct insights. Thats why we trained a small neural model on heavy openings knowledege, it has been trained on large amounts of books and theory, but it doesnt output english, thats why we took its internal breakdown of the position and then feed into an AI to give explainations in english.
